Tektite

Tektites are both specific enemies included by default, and an enemy type selectable within the Enemy Editor.

The Enemy

Spider creature that jumps around the screen in a diagonal motion. There are two types, red and blue.

Graphics

• Cset: 8 (red), 7 (blue)
• Old tiles: 103 - 104
• New tiles:
  • Red: 2340 - 2375
  • Blue: 2380 - 2415

Fighting Info

• HP: 2
• Damage: 2 (1/2 heart)
• Speed: 250 (punctuated)
  • Hops around ignoring walk flags

Other Notes

• Blue variety frequently drops blue rupees and occasionally Magic jars.

Enemy Properties

• Misc1: The inverse probability that the enemy will jump during a given frame. (For example, if Misc1 is 2, there is a 1/2 chance it will jump.)

• Misc2: The enemy's upward and downward velocity, in pixels per second, during each jump.

• Misc3: The inverse probability that the enemy will continue jumping after completing a jump.
