Slash

An ability in Zelda Classic which allows Link to swing his sword in a sweeping horizontal motion, which has a wider range and is more effective than his usual "stabbing" gesture.

It is possible to allow the player to Learn Slash with a room type in the middle of a quest. However, most quest makers choose to either begin their quest with the Slash ability already available, or to forego it entirely.
