Bombs are laid on the ground and explode on a timer, dealing high damage in a large area of effect. They are exceptionally useful for revealing secret caves.

Super Bombs are from The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, and create a much larger explosion than ordinary bombs. The following Item Editor properties apply to both item classes, with the exception of the "Use 1.92 Timing" Flag, which applies only to Normal Bombs. Additionally, there are items that refill Link's normal bomb supply. These are called bomb ammo. There are four different ammunitions that refill Link's bombs accordingly by the number displayed: 1, 4, 8, and 30.

Item Editor Properties

Damage
How much damage to deal to enemies that are hit by the blast.
Fuse Duration
The amount of time, in frames, that will pass before the laid bomb explodes. Set this to 0 to make a Remote Bomb, which will only explode once the maximum amount of bombs have been laid and the bomb item is 'used' again to trigger the explosions.
Max. on Screen
The maximum number of bombs that can be laid on the screen at one time. In The Legend of Zelda, this is 1. In later Zelda games, it is usually 2.
Use 1.92 Timing (Normal Bomb Only)
A bug in Zelda Classic version 1.92 made it so that strong enemies such as Aquamentus would be hit twice by the bomb's blast, unlike in The Legend of Zelda. Some people might prefer this, though. This flag does not apply to super bombs.
