Bomb Bags

Bomb Bags are items which can allow a specified number of bombs to be held at one time. Note that setting the maximum number or bombs Link can carry to begin with in the initialization data eliminates the purpose of the bomb bags with the exception of the L4 bomb bag, which gives Link unlimited bombs.
While Bomb Bags were not found as items in The Legend of Zelda, there were similar limits on the number of bombs Link could hold that could only be increased when he encountered a guy in specific rooms in Dungeons. These rooms are otherwise known as 'more bombs' rooms, which increase the maximum number of bombs Link can carry by 4 for whatever price is set. In The Legend of Zelda, it cost 100 rupees to increase Link's bomb capacity.
When Link finds a Bomb Bag, his maximum bomb amount increases. There are currently 4 bomb bags in Zelda Classic. There's a L1 Bomb Bag, which allows Link to hold 30 bombs at a time, a L2 Bomb Bag, which allows Link to hold 60 bombs at a time, a L3 Bomb Bag, which allows Link to hold 99 bombs at a time, and finally, a L4 Bomb Bag, which gives Link infinite bombs. This item originated in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
